Astrology

We are all born at a certain time, With different qualities that are easy to define. There are twelve equal parts to the astrology chart, At the first house is where you should really start. The first house in the chart is very important you see, It will explain the place or persons' personality. How the person or place first appears to be, There are other things hidden though you can not see. The rising sign is how we think in our head It sometimes controls what will or will not be said. If you just study a place or a persons chart, You will know all of the houses play a special part. My Venus is in Libra, my Moon is in Gemini, Do you think you would like to give it a try? We are never just one sign and if you take a look, It is carefully explained in a good astrology book. There is something I tell everyone I know, It takes more than just one sign for you to grow. Because if there is just one ingredient, How boring, how dull, not how life is to be spent. There are so many stars in the galaxy, Each one in our chart affects us differently. So when someone says they are a Leo with flare, I can’t help but look at them and stare. Scorpio is the detective of the zodiac, Studying astrology, well it takes a certain knack. Libra must have things balance, Pisces cannot decide, Virgo must analyze, forget it Taurus, you can’t hide. Gemini there always seems to be two, You never know which one you're talking to. An Aquarius will seem to float through the air, Now the Sagittarius they don’t seem to have a care. Then when you study a chart with a little bit of one, That is where you can start to have all the fun. Where is your destiny? A Visit to the Dentist

Well it is time for a visit to the dentist again, I don’t want to go but I will feel better in the end. I finally gave in and called today, I can’t escape this no matter how much I delay. When it gets closer to the actual date, I know I should be on time and must not be late. But there suddenly is this fear that is gripping me, I pray for snow, a blizzard, anything you see. It is really very easy when you first get there, They have pretty music and a nice soft chair. The receptionist is always as pleasant as can be, But she doesn’t share my fear, don’t you see. I know sooner or later and I am fully aware, They are going to put me in that dreaded chair. Is it just a cleaning of my teeth I need today?, I hope so and it is not too long I have to stay. All kinds of things hanging everywhere, Enough to give anyone a good scare. Have you ever heard the sound of the drill?, The sound of that thing will give you a chill. There are very dark goggles to protect your eyes, Hiding things though and you are in for a big surprise. The stuff that they give you to make your gums numb, That taste is it cherry or bubble gum? I grip the arms of the chair as hard as I can, I even stop breathing but that is not part of the plan. The dentist is always so nice and has a special way, Of saying to me, “Are you ok?” When they are all through and I can finally get away, I try to remember to tell them thanks and have a nice day. My dentist really is very special you see, I am glad they have the patience to put up with me. © Brenda Sparkman February 2004
