The Hand You Were Dealt

Imagine playing a game of cards
You don't like what you hold in your hand
But still you have to make a smart play
Even if at times you can't seem to win

Thats how at times life might be
If so you just have to treat it best you can
At times it can be like an hour glass
Moving so quickly like the pouring sand

And then at times life can be the best
It will treat you oh so very good
You'll feel like things are back on track
Just living like you always should

So no matter the situation you are in
As long as self respect is what you have left
You're actually doing better than you thought
By dealing with the hand you were dealt
